Intellectual Property Management: IT Offshoring To China
Offshoring requires the sharing of a wide array of proprietary knowledge. Intellectual property (IP) is an organizations most important asset, so the globalization poses a strong challenge to the traditional notions of intellectual property. This article researched the Chinas IP protection system and outlined the ways in which the foreign investor can mitigate the risk of IP conflicts: 1.Enquire the IP consultant.2.Register IP in China. 3.Use a written agreement to protect know how and trade secrets. 4.Protect the new IP timely.
