Design of Digital Mineral Prospecting System Based on Weight of Evidence

摘要：

Digital mineral prospecting system is a convenient tool for the experts who dedicate to evaluate resource. In this paper, we introduced the theory of the Weight of Evidence prospecting algorithm and implement the Weight of Evidence Digital Mineral Prospecting System based on MapGis6.7 and Delphi. This is a knowledge-driven system which has many useful functions such as the automatic extraction of mineral information, the calculation of Weight of Evidence, the calculation of mineral probability, etc. The result can be output as graph. The system applies to those areas where enough knowledge can be obtained , and help experts block out the mineral prospective areas.
