Numerical Simulation in a Hydro-cyclone
The paper predicted the interior two-phase flow in a hydro-cyclone using a Reynolds Stress Model, and Discrete Phase Model. And the results in numerical simulation agree well with experimental data, both the variation laws discipline is unanimous in tendency. The result in numerical simulation can be used in optimization design on hydro-cyclone. The result of flow discipline provided in tangential flow, axial flow and radical flow, and according to the variation laws of axial velocity, the improved method is put forward on physical design of return tube.
