Spectrum Analysis of Seismic Signal Based on Matching Pursuits Algorithm

摘要：

Matching pursuits algorithm has been applied to many areas because of its flexible self-adaptation, but it has the problem of huge computational cost, so it is hard to be adopted in practice. The paper introduces the principle of matching pursuits algorithm. A fast algorithm based on genetic algorithm is discussed and the algorithm can decrease the amount of the computation effectively. At the end, a segment of seismic signal is analyzed in time-frequency plane. In such way the interference term in wigner distribution is eliminated, so the time-frequency information in the signal can be revealed.
