The Accuracy Assessment of the Satellite Position Calculated Based on IGU Ephemeris and Its Application
The method of satellite position prediction using IGU ephemeris provided by IGS is introduced and analysis the accuracy of satellite position which is better than that calculated by broadcast ephemeris. Finally, this prediction method is applied in the navigation satellite position prediction for occultation observation. The difference between the predicted time and actual time is less than 1 second and the direction is basically the same.
