General Geological Spatial Database Management and Component Development

摘要：

According to the characters of geological data, such as the various types, large data amount and complex data formats, the geology data are abstracted to five categories, which are map, file, table, report and classification. The file and table data are converted into BLOB data or file index data before importing into the Oracle database. The vector data and remote sensing images are connected with geological database after preprocessing. Moreover, GeodbSM, an integrated geological spatial data management component, is designed and developed, which is used for geological spatial data managing, browsing and information query.
