Study on Reversible Data Hiding Based on Transformation Matrix

Most previous reversible data hiding schemes which embedded the secret data in the frequency domain are based on integer-to-integer transform. The paper presented that if the element of the inverse of transformation matrix is all integer, embedding message in the transform domain based on the already existing reversible data hiding method such as difference-expansion, histogram modification-based, and lossless compression can achieve reversible information hiding, and the experimental results also show that the scheme based on the proposed note can achieve reversible data hiding and demonstrate a better performance.
