Discussion on the Development Status and Trends of Green Building in Tianjin

摘要：

Green building is a booming (modern) trend in China. However the development process of green building in Tianjin did not fare well historically and faces numerous challenging demands. The general limited understanding of green buildings technology is a consequence of an imperfect evaluation system as well limited means available as to research and studying the underlying technologies. So, we should establish green building evaluation standard, improve design concepts and programs for green building, as well as intensify green building demonstration programs and propagate green buildings to promote green building development. Moreover, it provides reference for the sustainable development of Tianjin green building industry.
