Dispersive Finite-Difference Time-Domain Method for Modeling of Cloaking Structure
Transformation Optics theory and the development or metamaterials make the invisible cloaking possible. In this paper, modeling of cloaking structures is introduced firstly, then a dispersive finitedifference time-domain (FDTD) method which based auxiliary differential equation (ADE) technique and Drude dispersive model is applied to modeling of cloaking structures. Last, lossless and lossy cloaking structures are simulated by dispersive FDTD, and the cloaking phenomenon* are very clearly shown. Also, a thin cloaking structure is examined.
