Stability Analysis of Difference Scheme for High Power Microwave Atmosphere Propagation Model
In this paper, the stability of the one dimensional (ID) finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) difference scheme for the high power microwave (HPM) atmosphere propagation model is analyzed. The derivation shows that the conventional Courant condition b still valid when the time step meets the constraint imposed by the collision frequency. Our conclusion, confirms that the FDTD method is available in this case. This work provides a theoretical basis for the study of non-linear problems about HPM propagation in the atmosphere.
