Method of Empirical Mode Decompositions in Radio Frequency Fingerprint
It is important but difficult to analyze transient signal of Radio Frequency Fingerprinting (RFF), especially to extract the features of RFF signal. Method of analyzing transient signal based on Empirical Mode Decompositions (EMD) is introduced in this paper. EMD can dynamically achieve signals Time-Frequency Distribution (TFD) and amplify the features difference between RFFs transient signals from different radio transmitters. EMD is efficient to process transient signal and can extract efficient features in RFF system. The results of simulation show that EMD method has the advantages that signal processing speed of EMD is fast and can achieve very high correct rate of recognizing to transmitter.
