Core and Visualization Analysis Based on Network of Co-citation
This paper attempts to utilize social network analysis to disclose the relation structure of core journals. Journal cocitation network structure was analyzed from perspective of a social network analysis of the whole network through transforming the 29 kind management science journal’s cocitation multivalue matrix into twovalue matrix network. Some quantitative characteristics of the network such as density, centrality, kcore, Coreperiphery structure were revealed and the results were mapping through visualization. The results concernThe journal cocitation network does not have a strong cohesion; journals can be roughly classified as four categories; there are 12 journals in the network when Kcore is 5; the network can be divided into the ground at the core of 11 journals and 18 journals at the edge of the structure.
