The Design of Signal Collecting System for Differential Laser Gyro
The signal collecting system is an important part in the digital processing for differential laser gyro (DILAG). Traditional design will result in 1 quantization error, which can deeply affect the precision of pulse counting for DILAG. Therefore how to design a new signal collecting system to minimize quantization error is of great importance to enhance the performance of DILAG. In this paper, based on the principle of pulse subdivision method, a new signal collecting system for DILAG is put forward using FPGA XC3S400AN and DSP TMS320F2812. The hardware structure and the software design are presented in detail. Experimental results show that the system can achieve quantization RMS of 103 , which will be useful to improve the precision of DILAG and hence do a lot of good to inertial navigation application.
