Effects of Protected Cultivation of Rain Shelter on Longmen Nianju Qualities during the on-tree-storage and Comprehensive Evaluaton of Fruit Qualities

In this report, effects of cultivation models on Nianju (Cirtus. reticulata Blanco) production were studied. Fruit qualities growing under open field cultivation (OFC) and protected cultivation of rain shelter cultivation (PCRS) were dynamically compared, and fruit principal components were also investigated. With increase of time of fruits storage on trees, total soluble solid (TSS) and total sugar (TS) of fruits under PCRS increased by 0.4% -2.9% and 0.62% -2.19% compared with that under OFC, respectively. Titratable acid (TA) under PCRS decreased slower than that under OFC. However, cultivation modes hardly influenced Vitamin C (VC ). Under PCRS and OFC, TSS/TA ratio of the fruits increased from 9. 85 and 7. 73 in late February to 14. 12 and 15. 77 in early May, All these results showed harvest time of Nianju fruit can be extended two or three month and the fruit flavor also be greatly improved. The principal components analysis results suggested fruit comprehensive qualities depended on three principal components: TA factors, sucrose (R) factors and reducing sugar (RS) factors. And the comprehensive evaluation showed fruit quality of PCRS was higher than that of OFC during the whole on tree-storage time.
