Economic Analysis of the Italian Red Orange Chain
This research helped outlining today s scenario and evolutive process of the red orange sector by analyzing surfaces and productions per geographic area, production methods, product destinations, and importation and exportation trends, besides carrying out a specific analysis of the chain organization for the red orange in Italy. It is based on the official documentation available and the information provided for by associations and stakes holders of the sector, from 1960 up to date, this to observe some evolutive phenomena regarding the orange sector in Italy. The SWOT analysis, instead, allowed analyzing the red orange sector and provided useful instruments to delineate today s health of the red orange from which new strategies may develop.
