Relaxation Effects in the Thermo-viscoelasticity with Three-phase-lag
A model of generalized thermo-viscoelasticity with three-phase-lag is presented, and the rheological properties of the volume are taken into consideration. The formulations are applied to the generalized thermoelasticity theories: TEWED theory and three-phase-lag theory. Exact solutions for a medium with a cylindrical cavity are subjected to a time-dependent thermal shock. Numerical results are illustrated graphically by inversing the Laplace transform. A comparison of the results for TEWED theories and three-phase-lag theory is presented.
