The Calculation of Hydration Collapse Pressure and The Determination of Collapse Cycle of Mud Shale in Sulige Gas Field
In this paper, a mechanical and chemical coupled model of mud shale wellbore wall stability is established, and according to the actual situation of Sulige gas field, the stability of the wall is also analyzed by adapting the Mohr-Coulomb criteria and using the rock mechanics parameters determined by laboratory testing. At the same time, in order to make the results more realistic, necessary improvements will be carried out to the effective stress. At last we get to know the changes of collapse pressure, and also identify the hydration collapse cycle should be 6 to 7 days in Sulige areas.
