Computing Method of Overland Flow Erosive Capacity on Loess Slopes for Long-distance Transportation’s Oil & Gas Pipeline
The overland erosion is an important type of sloping fields hydro-disaster for the long-distance transportation’s oil and gas pipeline. Based on the discussion for the characteristics of rain-storm, the conditions of runoff generation and the dynamic characteristics of erosion, it was analyzed the mechanism of forming disaster and its main types. The results show that A-type rain-storm is main form for pipeline’s hydro-disaster of the loess sloping field. According to the relevant results, we obtain the statistical relations between the average scoured depth of the overland flow and the rainfall intensity of A-type rain-storm in the hilly area of Loess Plateau, and the computing result tallies with the facts.
