Fluid-solid-heat Coupling Analysis of Hole Stability of Under-balanced Drilling
Using Finite element software, according to mathematical theory model, wall model was established, then was applied boundary conditions and simulated the wall stress. For temperature difference between well and formation and fluid flowing into well, Fluid-solid-heat Coupling theory is used. In this paper, wall stress is analyzed under the influence of temperature difference, formation fluid, fluid pressure in well and crustal stress, etc. also the angle and thickness of wall collapse. Using Finite element software to simulate stress distribution under Multi-physics coupling is more intuitive and more efficient, and then to study the wall stability.
