3D FEM Analysis for Shiliushubao Landslide Applied Three Gorges Reservoir Water Level

A 3D FEM analysis is performed for Shiliushubao Landslide in the Three Gorges reservoir. The influence of seepage caused by the fluctuation of reservoir water level on the change of displacement is evaluated. By comparing displacements caused by different water lever, the rule of change in displacement and stability corresponding to different water level are obtained, which is helpful to design a reasonable distribution of monitoring points for the landslide.
