Inquiry into Nonlinear Characteristics of Safety Science
The nonlinear characteristics have been revealed to be the main characteristic of safety problem and safety system through the research of complex nonlinear phenomenon of accidents or disasters in some safety fields, such as coal industry, various fire disasters, financial system, dam body and slope, mechanical system. The nonlinear interaction between every element and surrounding factors in some typical disaster system have been analyzed, and the influence of the nonlinear interaction on system evolution have also been analyzed. The corresponding relation between dynamic behavior in disaster system and dynamic characteristics in relevant nonlinear dynamic system have been put forward, and the relevant nonlinear research methods have been put forward which suit to analysis the complex nonlinear phenomenon. The unified nonlinear theory should be established using the nonlinear methods, and this will be the emphasis of safety science research in future.
