Problems Confronting the Coal Mine
This paper is intended to analyze the feature of the coal industry of China in the new economy times. On the basis of investigations into some coal mining businesses, the author comes to the conclusion that challenges coexist with opportunities in the coal mining industry of China. The main challenges are the issue of safety in the entire process of coal mining and the problem of environmental pollution resulting from the burning of coal. And the most important opportunity is the significant role coal plays as a major energy source in the coming decades owing to its enormous amount of recoverable reserves. The reason of low safety in coal mining has frequently been discussed by the main coal-producing countries in the world and researches show that coal can be stable, reliable, sustainable and environmentally sound if the new equipment, craft and advanced technology are adopted, correlative law, code and system be improved, appoint system be perfected, safe culture education, propagation and lecture be recognited, miners operation technology and stuff be improved. By managing, inspecting and ensuring of administration, industry and commerce to enhance safe production supervising of coal mine, the coal mining industry of China will continue to be safe effective harmonious and continuous development.
