Study on Regional Outburst Elimination of Soft Low Permeability Seam
Regional outburst elimination measures are the key to prevent coal and gas outburst. Various regional outburst elimination measures of single soft low permeability, and a new measure, called crossing hole + hydraulic flushing, was put forward, and the mechanism of hydraulic flushing was studied and its process flows introduced, 3 step drainage measure was put forward. The in-situ experimental results showed that, not only the stress surrounding the strata but also the gas in coal seam was released efficiently and thoroughly after the new measure was taken, thus the permeability and drainage volume were increased dramatically, which has a potential effect to prevent and control coal and gas outbursts;The adoption of3 step drainage measure had prevented gas exceeding the limit, which guaranteed coal mine safety with much obvious economic and social benefits.
