The FDS Simulation of Ancient Architecture Puningsi

Most ancient architectures are 3 or 4 grade buildings, the refractory grade is low, and fire loads are high, if caught fire, which, would result in unrecoverable lost. This paper selected Dachenzhige in Puningsi as one of the ancient architectures as the representation. The fire scene was designed according to the fire safety analysis results, and through FDS calculating, results about fire spread and temperature distribution were accomplished. Further numerical simulation analysis results can be a guide for fire prevention, and fire detection, fire extinguishment setting also which can be some help to those similar ancient architecture fire prevention.
