The Significance of Diffusing Chinese Language to National Cultural Security

摘要：

Under the background of globalization, national cultural security is facing severe tests and great challenges.To safeguard national cultural safety, improving cultural soft power is the fundamental element. The diffusion of Chinese language in foreign countries is an important means of enhencing the soft power of Chinese culture. Only in-depth mining the essence of traditional and modem Chinese culture, do we make the Chinese culture and values have a profound influence on the world by the means of diffusing Chinese language. In order to achieve a real sense of cultural seeurity, China should transform its strategy of cultural security from the defensive cultural security to a constructive dialogue-based cultural security.
