Development of Security Technology Communication in New Media Environment
In recent years, the major public emergencies frequently happened in China. Through the news reports of the mass media, the public unprecedentedly pays attention to protection against and mitigation of earthquake disasters, food sanitation and other public safety fields, so there is a massive campaign of scientific popularization for the mass. As the age of new media has come, the safety technology communication is more and more influenced by the power of media. The new media has had impact on the process of safety technology communication and played a significant role in the technology communication. This paper focuses on the development trend of new media, and discusses its characteristics, advantages and disadvantages in the safety technology communication, so as to urge the new media to play itsirreplaceable role in the safety technology communication.
