The Study of Hong Kong’s Technology Activities and Needs in Leading Industry Under the Financial Crisis

摘要：

This paper analysis the Hong Kong’s technology needs and their leading industry status. It shows that the Hong Kong economy, which the service industry is in particular faced with both opportunities and challenges under the financial crisis. Hong Kong’s leading industry has a wide range of needs in information technology, electrical and electronic technology, and manufacturing technology. Promoting scientific and technological development and increasing the scientific research and technical cooperation in these areas has great significance to ensure sustained development of Hong Kong’s economy.
