In Industrial Upgrading Perspective Seeking for the Path of Beijing Constructing World City

摘要：

The forming process of world city is driven by technological revolution. The world city’s formation is based on transferring in the economic barycenter. The level of industrial development is fundamental for world city. To carry out the goal of world city in Beijing, the basic path is realizing industrial upgrading. According to the definition of world city proposed by John Friedman in 1986, this paper try to put forward the path for Beijing constructing world city, which begins to digging the connotation of industrial upgrading and analyzing the factors of the favorable and unfavorable in industrial upgrading. Then, it try to draw conclusion that government should formulate industrial upgrading strategies which fit to the intemational status of Beijing in future, improve the systems to incentive enterprise innovating industries based on information technology.
