Economic Analysis of Carbon Barrier to Textile Exports of China
After Copenhagen meeting, the developed nations such as the United Kingdom and the United States have been set up the relevant bodies to detect the carbon emission standards. The standard of carbon content will become the new barrier to textile trade --- low carbon barrier. This paper mainly exploits normative economics analytical tools to study China’s welfare effects of the set of lowcarbon barrier. With the cost - benefit analysis, the article explores the welfare influence on China, which is a large nation on the textile export, and then find solutions to overcome the low-carbon barriers.
