Product Differentiation Strategy in Chinese Agro- products Export
The high level of product’s homoplasy and similarity has existed in Chinese agricultural products export for a long time. This issue affects the export market expansion of agriculture products and exporters’ benefits, and it weakens the international competitiveness and anti-risks capacity of Ago-products exporters. Therefore, for Chinese agroproducts exporters, it is very necessary to adjust products’ structure of agro-products for export, to implement product differentiation strategy and diversify the varieties of products. Thus, the international competitiveness of agriculture products can be improved subsequently. This article analyzes the significance of product differentiation strategy by building a model of product differentiation, and puts forward several pathways of achieving products differentiation: differentiation of products positioning, quality differentiation, differentiation of origins,differentiation of selling seasons and differentiation of brands images.
