Dual Labor Market in Urban China——From Informal Employment Approach

摘要：

Using 2002 Chinese Household Income Project data and Chinese rural migrant questionnaire data, this paper, from informal employment approach, investigates whether the Chinese urban labor market is dual segmented in the context of social transition .The results indicate: there are two different wage mechanisms in Chinese urban labor market: The informal employment, rather than household registration system, has been the uppermost key affecting the labor entering the primary labor market.
