The IPRs Pledge Loan for the High Tech SMEs and Its Development Prospects in Hangzhou

Intellectual property fights (IPRs) pledge loan opens a new way for the high tech small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) which lack the fixed asset to gain financial support;it is becoming an important job for all levels of government in recent years. Although Hangzhou has made certain progress on the aspect of providing IPRs pledge loans for some high tech SMEs, compared with Beijing, Shanghai and other cities, there is still a long way to go. This article analyzes the significance of IPRs pledge loan for the high tech SMEs, summarizes a literature review, introduces the efforts of all levels of government in promoting the IPRs pledge loan in recent years. It also makes a study on the present situation, and future development prospect of IPRs pledge loan in Hangzhou.
