Co-SBA-15 for heterogeneous oxidation of phenol with sulfate radical for wastewater treatment
Introduction Recently, sulfate radical was proposed as an alternative to hydroxyl radical for advanced oxidation of organics in wastewater. Co ion has been found as an effective catalyst for sulfate radical production. In this paper, Co-SBA-15 was employed as a heterogeneous catalyst for activation of peroxymonosulfate for sulfate radical production and phenol oxidation.
