One-step Hydrothermal Synthesis Cu-SAPO-34/cordierite for Removal NO from Diesel Engines

Introduction The emission of carbon particles (PM), nitric oxide (NO), hydrocarbons (HC) and carbon monoxide (CO) into the atmosphere has aroused wide attention, with the increasing number of diesel engines. The effectiveness of traditional three-way catalyst converters (TWC) is very low due to the high content of oxygen in the diesel engine exhaust, Nowadays, selective reduction of NO under an oxidizing atmosphere by hydrocarbons or NH3 has been used to catalytic removal of NO in the exhaust gas of diesel engines 1. It is reported that Cu-SAPO-34 is highly active for the selective reduction of NO with high thermal stability 2, 3.
