Introduction Nitrogen oxides (NOX) emitted from automobiles and stationary sources remain a major source for air pollution. Catalytic abatement of NOX has attracted much attention in the worldwide area because of stringent regulations for NOX emissions. The catalytic reduction of NO by CO is one of the most important potential reactions for NOX decomposition 1.
