Influence of Platinum Nanoparticles Morphology on Carbon Monoxide Oxidation
Introduction Although density-functional calculations and experiments on single-crystal have demonstrated that adsorption and oxidation of CO strongly depended on the morphology of catalysts, there has been a material gap between single crystal and supported catalysts since the catalysts had to be affected by capping agent and substrate. Due to the unpractical of single crystal in actual heterogeneous catalytic reaction, preparation of well defined supported catalysts is important to investigate the shape-activity dependence.
