Microwave-assisted Hydrothermal Synthesis of ZnIn2S4 and Visible Photocatalytic Activity
Introduction Heterogeneous photocatalytic oxidation is widely used as a green technology for the decomposition of the soluble dyes in wastewater. ZnIn2S4 as one of materials in the ternary chalcogenides families has attracted widespread attention because it is a potential material for application in photocatalysis. In this paper, microwave-assisted method was explored to direct fabrication of ZnIn2S4 with a low temperature, template-free and facile synthetic method in aqueous solution. The application of ZnIn2S4 in photocatalytic degradation of dye (methyl orange, MO) has been investigated.
