Beneficial Effects of Pt Addition to NiCo-LaAl Catalyst for methane reforming with carbon dioxide
Introduction Reforming of CH4 with CO2 to produce synthesis gas attracted more attention in the past years for its lower H2/CO ratio and the utilization of the greenhouse gases. Compare with the steam reforming of fossil fuels, dry reforming has much more potential incentives with economical and environmental benefits. Our previous investigation showed that NiCo-LaAl bi-functional catalyst prepared by conventional incipient wetness impregnation method is active and stable for dry reforming, now the effects of Pt addition to NiCo-LaAl Catalyst for dry reforming on the activity, the durability and carbon deposition was investigated.
