Comparative Advantages,System Differences and Trade Imbalance between China and the US
This paper analyzes the dynamic changes of the comparative advantages in China and the US,as well as the differences between the two countries basic economic systems,distribution systems,trading systems and exchange rate systems.We hold the view that the Theory of Comparative Advantage can not explain the phenomena of the Sino-US trade imbalance,and that the differences between the two countries systems mentioned above lead to great differences between their orientations of livelihood policies,while their orientations of livelihood policies contribute to the demand imbalance which is the fundamental reason for trade imbalance.Therefore,the fundamental reason of trade imbalance between the two countries is the system differences between them.Then we come to propose the internal relation between the realization of Chinas ensuring peoples well-being and the solving of Sino-US trade imbalance.
