Motion Analysis of Knee Joint during Lachman Test from Fluoroscopy by Fuzzy Inference
This study proposed an automated motion analysis of knee joint during Laehman test from fluoroscopic data. Identification of the femur and tibia region in fluoroscopic data is important for analysing knee motion. However, it was difficult to identify the femur and tibia region by simple thresholding process, because the contrast of the data is unclear. To overcome the problem, the identification was realized by using:fuzzy inference based on expert knowledge. In the experiment, our proposed method was applied for one male subject with anterior cruciate ligament injury. As a result, the proposed method could measure the anterior translation during Lachman test.
