Appraisal on Productive Emciency of Logistics Listed Company in China
This paper has selected 33 logistics listed companies as decision-making units (DMU) and measured their productive efficiency according to data envelope analysis (DEA).The results show that the overall productive efficiency of logistic company is not high.The majority companiescomprehensive efficiency value is lower than 0.5 and their pure technical efficiency value is also on a low level.Only 5 companies are DEA efficient which are on the condition of constant returns to scale.The other companies are non-DEA efficient,which is mainly caused by pure technical non efficiency.Most of them are on the condition of increasing returns to scale.Therefore,at present, logistic companies should work hard to raise their technical level as well as enhance productive efficiency,meanwhile expand their scale properly to realize economies of scale.
