After Construction Settlement Prediction of the High Rock Filled Embankment Based on Improved GM(1,1)

The hight of the west shanghai-chengdu highway rock filled embankment is more than 72m. In order to precisely predict the after construction settlement,based on the gray theory,the equal time interval GM(1,1) model was established and made some improvements.By use of the improved GM(1,1) model,the after construction settlement of the high rock filled embankment was predicted. Compared with the measured data,the predicted data has a good fitness.It shows that the predict precision of the improved GM(I,l)model is much higher than that of the conventional model.Its worth to popularize this new method in predicting the settlement of high rock filled embankment.
