RESEARCH OF LEADERSHIP MODES TO INNOVATION
Leader is the key of innovation. With the independent innovation trend in China, a great gap of leadership also incumber the pace of innovation. One important reason is the mistake of replacement of innovation by creativity, also equation of leading behavior which driving creativity by leadership modes which driving innovation. Base on the research of innovation evolutionary process and the key groups in those process, we distinguish three leadership modes driving to innovation. This paper defines those three leadership mode, and discuss main features, applicable situation. Under the support of the empirical data, the enterprise innovation leader of the three dimension mode of leadership modes for innovation has been validated. This study reveals the regularity of the differences of leadership modes for innovation, can help leaders make a dynamic choice of leading behavior by innovation type, innovation stage features and innovation climate. It has an important role to promote the leadership driving enterprise innovation for our country.
