Pretreatment for SWRO

摘要：

Seawater reverse osmosis (SWRO) has been developed into an energy-efficient process for desalination since1980’s. Pretreatment for SWRO is one of important steps in guarantee the success of whole process. Pretreatment techniques include conventional, membrane filtration and others. The advantages and disadvantages of different pretreatment techniques are presented based on the situation of SWRO plant in China.
