The Introduction of New Seawater Technology The Latest Seawater RO Membrane SWC6/SWC6MAX
Worldwide shortage of water is serious with an increase in the water demand. Therefore, the remarkable growth of seawater desalination is accomplished in recent years and the Reverse Osmosis (RO) membrane method, which can run in the energy efficient, occupies the entire operating capacity more than a half to the seawater desalination. Nitto Denko/Hydranautics has supplied high performance seawater RO membranes and answered various specifications. It introduces the latest product SWC6/SWC6 MAX in this paper.SWC6/SWC6 MAX can reduce a 5～15％ of energy consumption from conventional seawater RO operation, and contribute to save it which costs most in the seawater desalination.
