The Optimization of CMM in Textile Color Testing
In order to assess color deviation and color fastness of textiles precisely, we to optimize the color management modules (CMM) which has been established between RGB and CIE-XYZ was optimized by Matlab 2008 programming and Matlab 2008/VB6.0 mix-programming. Many kinds of textile fabrics were tested by two different scanners. The results obtained by computer measuring were analyzed by comparing them with the results got by specialist eyeballing. The conclusion shows that the precision of the CMM optimized is improved and the influence caused by testing environments is reduced. The model can be used in ways, and it is potential for us to develop a more precise color testing and grading software.
