Dynamics Analysis for Cutting Part of Shearer Physical Simulation System

Coal-rock interface recognition system mainly collects response signals of cutting force of shearer by multisensor and analyses this response signal for the recognition of cutting coal or rock. So it equips five types of sensors to pick up these signals. Both the disposition optimization of sensors measuring point (especially the disposition optimization of measuring point of the arm vibration) and the choice of the sensor performance (In particular dynamic characteristic) are closely related to the dynamic characteristics of cutting part of physical simulation system. In view of this, finite element dynamics analysis (including the transient response and the harmonic response) of cutting part of shearer physical simulation system has been made. The vibration characteristics based on the time response and frequency response are analyzed. The study not only optimize the disposition of the vibration sensor measuring point for the maximum output amplitude signals, but also identify the frequency range of the vibration sensor, so that it not only satisfies the condition for undistorted measurements, but also avoids that the sensors are interfered due to resonance .
