Sensitivity Online Recognition of AMR Sensor
The anisotropic magnetoresistive (AMR) sensor is one type that lends itself well to the earths field sensing range. The key benefit of AMR sensors is they can be bulk manufactured on silicon wafers and mounted in commercial integrated circuit packages. But the sensitivity of AMR sensor changes greatly with the temperature of surrounding and crossaxis field. The sensitivity compensation method for AMR sensor based on sensitivity recognition is proposed in this paper. The results of experiment show that the sensitivity of HMC1002 without temperature and cross-axis field compensation varies greatly after power on, the sensitivity of HMC1002 with temperature and cross-axis field compensation is stable after power on. It can be seen that proposed sensitivity compensation method is effective.
