Constructing Service Network via Classification and Annotation
Web service is expected to be the key technology of implementing SOA solution on the Internet. However, it is more and more difficult to find suitable services with the increase in Web services. Service Network (SN), which is a semantic relation based Web service infrastructure, is proposed to bridge the gap between service providers and service consumers. In this paper, we discuss the whole process of how to construct SN and the key technologies in it: service classification and annotation. With the help of domain experts and e-dictionary, Web services are categorized to specific domains. Based on the comparative analysis between domain ontology and WSDL document, an annotation approach is proposed to build abstract service layer and bring semantic information to SN. Finally, an online test version of SN is presented to testify the effect of this paper.
