Excursion of Sulfur Isotope Compositions in the Lower Triassic of South Guizhou, China
INTRODUCTION Sulfur isotopic composition is a useful tool to provide information on the global sulfur cycles, further reflecting geological processes such as climatic change, volcanic activity, plate tectonics and ocean circulation (Kampschulte and Strauss, 2004; Strauss, 1999). The sulfur isotopes of carbonate associated sulfate (CAS) have become a current proxy of the ancient sulfur cycles (Marenco et al., 2008; Newton et al., 2004; Strauss, 1999).
